Made in Milan
We believe the most important thing about a garment is how it is made. Not the label. Not the price. The hands, the time, and the intention behind every stitch.
"Speed is the enemy of quality. We have never been in a hurry, and we never will be."
Marco Ferretti, Founder
The Process
Every Prima Vera garment begins with the finest raw materials — GOTS-certified organic cotton from Egypt, recycled cashmere from certified Italian mills, and hand-loomed silk from Como. We visit our suppliers personally, every season.
Our patterns are drawn by hand in the Milan atelier. Each template is refined across multiple fittings on live models before a single production piece is cut. A Prima Vera pattern may take up to three weeks to finalise.
We cut by hand. Every piece of fabric is laid individually, checked for grain and tension, and cut with shears — never a rotary blade. This adds time. We consider it non-negotiable.
Our garments are constructed using a combination of machine and hand stitching. Seams are pressed at every stage. Linings are hand-tacked. Buttons are sewn with a thread shank for longevity.
Every finished garment is inspected by a senior artisan before it leaves the atelier. Buttonholes are hand-finished. Hems are blind-stitched. The PV monogram is embroidered, never printed.
We offer free lifetime repairs on every Prima Vera piece. Because a garment that lasts is the most sustainable garment of all. Bring it back — we will make it right.
Via della Moda 12
Our atelier in Milan's fashion district has been our home since 2002. Eighteen artisans work here — cutters, seamstresses, embroiderers, and finishers — many of whom have been with us since the beginning.
The atelier is not a factory. It is a workshop. Every garment passes through multiple pairs of hands, each adding their expertise before the piece is deemed ready to leave.
Every Prima Vera piece is the result of dozens of hours of skilled work. Explore the collection and find yours.
